Kyle Marshall Choreography (KMC) is a dance company that sees the dancing body as a container of history, an igniter of social reform and a site of celebration. Kyle Marshall Choreography uplifts the bodies and voices of black and brown people, utilizing art making as a space for social questioning and the theater as a space for creating conversation. Created by Bessie award-winning artist Kyle Marshall, founder and artistic director of KMC in collaboration with the company members. Performances will feature four new repertory works, including Joan, Stellar, I & I, and Rise.

This engagement of Kyle Marshall Choreography is made possible through the ArtsCONNECT program of Mid Atlantic Arts Foundation with support from the National Endowment for the Arts.

NBPAC is guided by CDC guidelines and the state of New Jersey for our policies in preventing the spread of COVID-19 and protecting the health of our audiences, staff, volunteers, artists and their production teams.

To that end, beginning September 1, patrons attending a performance at the New Brunswick Performing Arts Center (NBPAC) must show proof of vaccination via a vaccine card, or proof through NJ’s Docket App (which can be downloaded from the app store on your phone). If not vaccinated, you must present a Negative COVID-19 PCR test taken within 72 hours of the performance date.

All patrons are required to wear masks at all times while inside the venue. This includes children older than 2 who have not been vaccinated.

This policy will be re-evaluated in November 2021.

Thank you for your support of Live Performances and for your help in making sure we can all gather safely and enjoy them.
