Description
Richard Strauss's "Also Sprach Zarathustra" is known the world over thanks to Stanley Kubrik's 2001: A Space Odyssey. Join us as Nicholas Music Center takes on one of the loudest pieces in the repertoire! The concert will begin with Thorvaldottir's "Metacosmos," delving the depths of the unknown. Completing the program is Rutgers Concerto competition winner, saxophonist Jarrod Apple with the Villa-Lobos "Fantasia." Maestro Kynan Johns conducts.
