Description

The Rutgers Wind Ensemble presents “New Morning for the World” in celebration of Black History Month, conducted by Kraig Alan Williams.

The concert will feature a new composition by composer Viet Cuong titled “Deciduous,” Joseph Schwantner’s “New Morning for the World” (with narration by Mason Gross Theater Department Alum Alena Rose), and will conclude with David Maslanka’s “Give Us This Day”, a short symphony for wind ensemble inspired by the writings of Vietnamese Bhuddist monk, Thich Nhat Hahn.

Tickets for the spring 2024 semester go on sale January 16. Please contact our ticket office to get up-to-the-minute ticket availability information.
